PREVENT v4

A new enhanced UI and a lot of salient features upgrade from v3.

Dashboard provides basic system information of the system. This is the landing screen of Prevent, it also tells whether Prevent is running or not. It gives user an option to Start and Stop Prevent.

All your license details are also managed from this screen. Unless a user doesn’t authenticate itself, he is not able to access any screen of the Prevent.

Previous version of Prevent v3 was not capable of giving the user a choice whether or not they want to enable/disable a setting, in Prevent v4 few of the registry settings user can enable and disable by merely selecting and deselecting them from the Registry screen.

User now has the option to selectively enable and disable which setting to implement, Prevent v4 enhanced UI and functionality gives them a choice to do so

An audit log is created for the folders which are registered for tracking, any change in these folder will be monitored once the prevent is stopped. Any changes in this folder – Create?Delete?rename/Size Changes of files etc will be tracked in Tracking screen on Prevent v4.

    I was using Prevent v2 since 2014, the only con of v2 is it didn’t have any option to customize and I’ve always wanted a feature to customize the restrictions as per my machine. Like for some instrument machine I want rename restriction but for other I don’t. And Prevent v4 is exactly what I have ever wanted. There is no such product in the market which can compete with it.

    A small feature request:
    Can you add a restriction to disable internet and disable USB in this version.

    We are glad that we have found this tool, earlier we were using GPO to restrict various policies like Task Manger, Control Panel etc. Prevent v4 provided us a way to have single application where we can restrict all these policies along with Cut, Copy, Paste, Rename Delete etc
